DHL Middle East

DHL Middle East, the region's leading express and logistics provider, welcomes the opportunity to continue as the title partner for this incredible educational initiative.

With 30 years presence in the Middle East we are committed to supporting the local communities in which we operate and their intrinsic cultural diversities that give this region its unique character. The two teams of young men and women taking part from across the Middle East and Europe will have their strength and endurance tested every step of the way of their adventure. Their bravery and resourcefulness embody the DHL spirit of embracing new frontiers with drive and enthusiasm.

One of our core values at DHL is to accept social responsibilities. Sponsoring this amazing adventure has given us another opportunity to play an important role in promoting intercultural dialogue and understanding following the successful journeys in 2005 and 2007.

All of the participants in this expedition will come away from this experience with enough memories to last a lifetime and a core belief in their inner strength stemming from learning life skills such as teamwork, communication and trust.

We salute these admirable young adventurers who represent our tomorrow and look forward to witnessing their greatness on these challenging journeys.

MHD and Land Rover have come together with the Connecting Cultures programme for the 2nd year running. Connecting Cultures is an excellent programme which encourages direct communication and face to face intercultural dialogue between young people from the Western and Arab worlds.

The programme will give the Land Rover brand a chance to get involved closely with a group of young people as they learn to work together as a team to solve daily problems and discover that there is more that unites than divides them.

This programme will enable them to cut through cultural stereotypes and misconceptions, and they will learn the much needed skills of decision making, communication and teamwork.

Land Rover as an international brand has been closely associated with events which promote cultural harmony and also encourage people to take an interest in the environment and preserve it for the generations to come.

In the Sultanate of Oman Mohsin Haider Darwish LLC in its role as the importer of the Land Rover brand has worked conscientiously to link the brand with events which have contributed towards worthy causes. The sponsorship of the Connecting Cultures programme is one more step towards MHD LLC & Land Rover’s contribution to society.
