The
2008 DHL Connecting Cultures programme saw 35 young
people from a variety of European and Arab countries
spend five days together in the desert and moutains
of Oman in an effort to promote cultural understanding
and break down stereotypes. On the following video
clips they summarise some of their discussions.

- Though it seems Muslim and Western societies
are continuously bumping heads, it should be
noted that some are working to bridge these
cultural gaps and promote understanding in their
place. The UNs Alliance of Civilizations is
one such example.
